I tried to understand what he was on about, made more difficult with his outrageous, affectatious speech and a cacophony of funny noises from the seats; glottal moans, ululating praying.
Behind all that there wasn't really anything he was saying.
General platitudes reporting for duty.
Truly uninspiring.
To a cynical, clinical, pinnacle of unspiritial like myself, it was boring.
Cyclical statements, biblical placements.
Great add numbers into the mix, that ought to liven things up.
To me the holy trinity is;
A New Hope,
The Empire Strikes Back,
And, Return of the Jedi.
Yet, I can see parallels.
But I know they are tall tales.
I wouldn't tell a kid that if they don't behave Jabba the hut will throw you in the sarlacc pit.
Or worse; That the devil wants your soul for eternity and he will prod you and pull at your flesh, burn you, turn you on a spit.
Feed you your own shit.
Hit you where it hurts, embarrass you, harrass you.
